So tell me again, what does HK do?
Letting go of the weights
A client who has had a lot of Health Kinesiology done explained it this way. I asked her permission to share it. I love the analogy.
If we were to go through our lives with weights tied to our ankles, wrists, heads, or any other place on our bodies, we would eventually forget the weight is there, go about our days without really thinking about it, wouldn’t we. Ladies, how often to you think about how heavy your purse is? How often have you forgotten your glasses are up on your head and you’re looking all over for them? If one day all of a sudden the weights dropped off, we would feel light as air, we would feel faster, more able to accomplish what we need to accomplish, and I’d hazard a guess, we’d get more done! We’d wonder why we put up with them all that time. Well, the inner issues we carry around our daily lives are like those weights, we’ve had them for so long, we don’t even notice they’re there – in fact we’re comfortable with them. Allergies, fears, self doubts, anger triggers, negative self talk, etc. have been constant companions – we hardly notice they are there. But what if we could cut them loose? What if we got rid of them one at a time? How free would we feel, how energized – ALIVE- would we feel? What if I told you can “lay aside the weights that so easily beset you”? Wouldn’t you want to know, want to do what it takes to be FREE? Health Kinesiology is the path I started on a few years ago, and I have found that the“weights” I was dragging around are being eliminated one by one – and I feel GREAT! I’ve eliminated the pills I was on, got rid of the need to ask what was in the food I was being served, since I no longer needed to worry about what kind of reaction my body was going to have to eating it. I highly recommend looking more closely at removing some of the weights in your life that are holding you back!
