Genetically Modified Organism

Although little to no safety testing has very been done, both Health Canada and the FDA have approved many genetically modified foods and plants. For a full education on how GMO works and what is known check out the Institute for Responsible Technology.

Be aware of what you are eating and take action to demand that GMOs are labelled and that safety testing is done before any new ones are approved. Download the shopping guides below and be sure to ask your local grocery story to bring in items that are NON-GMO certified. Tell the store manager that you want products labelled. Tell your Member of Parliament that you want Health Canada to require that GMO foods are clearly labelled as containing GMO ingredients.
