Tutoring VS Therapy
Tutoring vs Therapy |
Correct the cause instead of accommodating the problems. Most tutoring programs help learners to get along with their disability. Tutoring is aimed at filling in the gaps, drilling information into memory, and providing “tricks” or skills to remember things. Tutoring has to be repeated at every new level of information that has to be learned and tends to carry on for months or years. Learning Therapy goes to the heart of the issue and corrects the perception so that everything else falls into place. If your perception is skewed, then all of the information comes in skewed, which causes unreliable memory, sensations, and feelings. Our goal is to give you the tools to learn effectively no matter what topic or level. First I will give you some processes that enable you to gain control over how your brain receives input. Then we will build corrected patterns for all the letters and words that cause problems in reading and in thinking. Finally we provide tools to correct perception in many other areas of life. A learning disability isn’t only about reading problems, that is just one manifestation of the way the brain is working. The same brain process can affect listening, balance, writing, and behavior. You can have the tools to “re-wire” your brain and take control of your behavior and your learning. |
